Speckled Sussex Sex

This chick is about 2-3 months old. Some of the pictures make it look like some feathers are green, but that is not the case.

Roo or Pullet?

pullet. I can go take a pic of my young roo if you want. but he is more like 3-4months old.
here is a pic...sorry if it is a little blurry but he is kinda wild and wont let me get too close. I love zoom.

I hate to rock the boat but I am going to go with roo due to the larger legs and the starting spurs...seems a little pronounced for a pullet to me. Also looks like the start of pointed feathering in the saddle. Time will tell....

By the way...roo or pullet...I LOVE Speckled Sussex! I think they are one of the most beautiful breeds and they have the best personalities ever. I have never been able to understand why they seem to be so unappreciated.
