We got 6 pullets from MPC on April 21st, all beautiful and healthy. Here is Suzie, the Speckled Sussex when she was just a few days old:

She is the only Speckled Sussex we got, but from the beginning, she has really grown faster. So here she is at 9 wks old:

Soooooo, what do you think - just a big girl or did the chicken sexing person have a bad day? She is almost 12 wks old now, but looks much the same as this pic - maybe a little bigger.

My two SS are about 15 weeks old now, they have no comb or wattles to speak of compared to yours.
So I vote for Stu instead of Susie. He is a beautiful boy, though!

He is all boy! His tail feathers and red combs and wattles such a young age tell it all!

Even chicken sexers have a bad day once in a while.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. Oh well, maybe he will be a well behaved roo.

    Thanks for your input.
