Speckled wyandottes

    Um

    A guy offered me 2 wyandotte hens for $5. They are very young. No pics. He got em from a hatchery(idk which)
    Well what do speckeld wyandottes look like. he has no pics

    I would be wary,,,I never heard of Speckled Wyandottes

    Well, there is no such color of Wyandotte. There are some that look like Speckled Sussex in Europe, but they are not called speckled. Wonder if they are something like Partridge Wyandottes and he just forgot what they were called. Hmm. Pics would be the only way to verify what they are.

    Ok, that clears that up! Speckled Sussex are nice birds. I have one hen who is a huge eater. She's a sweetie, though.
