So I have done a lot of researching and I have come across a few videos/articles/forum posts about using spent grain as feed for poultry, mostly chickens. They say it has about 30% protein and the nutrients are more easily accessible due to the whole process of using it in the making of... let's use beer as the example (it could be a number of drinks). I searched on here and there does not seem to be much info on it. Do you all think that spent grain, seeing as it is high in protein, could be a good staple for coturnix quail? a good treat? a good supplement?

For chickens there are suggestions ranging from staple to occasional goodie. I'm just interested in what any of you may have read or tried personally!
