Spider Bite?

One of my young chicken been bit. (pic attached) 5 swollen lumps along the neck. And a 2 swollen lumps around the chest/armpit area. Any idea how to treat? He is acting fine, eating and drinking. Still active. Black scab with every lump, I am assuming bite marks, spider. Here in CA only spider we worry about are black widows.

Are you sure those are bites? They look kinda like tumors or cysts to me. I'm no expert, though.

I agree, they look like feather cysts.

Has he been fighting?

I pulled a few feathers out to get a clear view. The lumps developed in 2 days at most. Felt like overnight. I remember moving him, and there wasn't any lump visible. A day later the feather looked funky so I grabbed him to see what was going on. That's when I noticed all the lumps. It happened very quick. That's why I think it's a spider bite.

Feathers are broken. I would pick one lump and work on it to see if I would work out impacted feathers.
Seeking vet care for that many would be best.

He may have more going on, but hard to know.
