Any harm in feeding my hens the extra "spiders" from a spider plant?

Thanks, I was surprised to see that, tomato leaves and stem( friends told me chickens love them) are toxic, along with lily of the valley.

My chickens ate tomato leaves/stems without problems, but not in huge quantities. Others have said the same here on BYC I have read.
