I kept this chick because it's comb did not turn pink as fast as all my other chicks - so I hoped it was a girl. But now it's wattles and comb are very pink. She/he is a few months old. Any ideas if she really is a she?

If by 'few' you mean more than 10 or 12 weeks, I'd definitely lean toward pullet. Here are a cockerel and pullet side-by-side, at about 10 weeks old.

    Definitely a pullet.

    Here's a cockeral at 8 weeks.

Are you sure that's an Orpington? She's very lean bodied for an Orp that age. Is she a bantam Orp?

I got her from gumpsgrl, so I'm pretty sure. She doesn't look quite as lean in person - I know she looks really lean in the first picture. She's lucky - the camera makes her look skinny. [IMG]

Looks like a very very small pullet to me...here was my splash boy at around 6 weeks old

Is she eating and drinking okay? How is her poo? She looks very skinny/thin to me for 8 weeks old or more, I would be concerned were she mine.

This is Thor's sister at the same age (they hatched together)

She eats and drinks well from what I see. Her poop seems ok I think. It can be orange and runny sometimes. But it's so hot here they drink a lot of water - so I assumed it's because of that. I'm not quite sure what could be wrong with her besides being small.
