    Is this a split comb?

And, does any one have a photo of what a slipped wing looks like? Is it simply when the wing is held at a low angle or does it also involve the feathers? I want to be able to recognize it if I see it.

    Thanks,
    Kim

    Kim,

What you show in the first pic is a "Carnation" comb. Unless the roo is a Penedesenca, that's a DQ! He also had a side sprig on his comb in the second pic, another DQ. A slipped wing will hang lower than the horizontal position that it is supposed to be held in. You didn not say what breed of bird you are talking about, but just by going by the comb alone, I would make him SOUP! He is not worth breeding forward with those traits.
