spoiled rotten

    My son has spoiled my chickens rotten. They won't even come to me when he is around. I can see why since he always brings them live cricket treats. He has a friend that has a bait store and he orders them there. They know they are in for real treats when they see him coming down the hill. Once he opens the box they are on the crickets. It is something to watch and it takes no time for them to go though a box of five thousand. I would bet only about a hundred or so gets away. Pay back will be next spring when I turn over the garden and won't let them at all the worms I turn over. Now we all know that is not going to happen.

    wow, they are really spoilt, poor little uncle beeyorchies!!!
    thats my son's nickname for crickets! thats the same as when I have my shovel in my hand and head for the vegie patch, they all come running and I have to keep their heads out from where im going to throw the shovel in!
