Spoiled?

Good morning! I think I possibly turned my chicks into divas?? We are in CA. and the weather is really warming up. The other day, it was hot out, upper 80's, and the room where the girls are, was like 85 degrees, seriously warm and stuffy. I turned their heat lamp off for a moment, and within I feel like 5 minutes, they were all huddles together where the heat lamp shines down. They are 3 weeks, 3.5 weeks, and 4 weeks. I feel like at 3-4 weeks, they should be able to handle 85 degrees with no lamp! It's going to be 82 today, and I want to put them out in the sunshine ( with shade available of course) today so I can destink the room a bit!

They may just not be used to being in the dark? My chicks are always a little confused when I turn off their lamp! Maybe try easing them out of having heat a little slower. Try opening a window to get some cool air into the room, or raise up their lamp.
