Just thought I would share my solution to the problem of the float sticking on the humidity pan . Mine is a older 1500 model and it sometimes fails to fill due to age lime etc. I hooked up my low pressure regulator I use outdoors in summer for automatic water . The gravity feed from the bucket is not enough to keep it reliable but the low pressure is working great . This is the better regulator that adjusts from 3 to 10 PSI .
