    Hi Folks,
These chicks range from 13 to 17 weeks. I just wanted to see if any are roosters. It was hard to get good pics because they just won't be still.

in this picture, look closely at the dark Ameraucana in the back. The neck feathers look really big to me but I don't know if that means anything.

Top picture in the group of 5 together the lead looks like a hen to me, the rest look like roos.

Bottom 2 pics: Hens (Are they the same one?)

At 13-17 weeks of age they all look like pullets to me. But rose combed birds can be hard to tell without a good closeup.

wow, i can't believe you think 4 of the 5 in the first pic are roosters? that sucks. that means i have to take them back after i've been raising them for all this time and get chicks again.

I think the 4 out of 5 are pullets. The Ameraucana is looking pretty rooish based on tail/hackle feathers.

Quote:I agree, at that age the majority look to be pullets, but the last 2 photo's of the EE look rooish to me also.

Schwartzfarmnc- I enjoyed looking at your pics. I used to do some apple tree work in West Jefferson. Is Isabel's restaurant still there? Loved eating there.
