Spots on my chickens eye

Anybody have any idea what could be wrong with my chickens eye? She seems to have trouble seeing and I’m wondering if it’s cataracts. I don’t think it’s Mareks but I’m not sure.

Not Ocular Mareks. Does look like cataracts. Is a vet an option?

We’re thinking about taking her to a vet, but she still seems in good spirits, is eating/drinking etc. so we’re still unsure. First time chicken owners so it’s all pretty new still.

Looks like ulcers from an injury perhaps.

The vet option is totally up to you. If she's not exhibiting any other symptoms (nasal/eye discharge, abnormal or noisy breathing, etc) I would just flush it out and watch.

If you do take her to the vet, they can do a Fluorescein stain to check for ulcerations.
