Spring is in the air- protecting the flowers etc as they emerge?

So I raised 5 ducklings over the summer. They are now full grown and have stolen my heart. Spring is coming (I hope) here in the great Northwest. I have tons and tons of tulips, Dads, and crocus that will be emerging soon. I would suspect that the “girls” if they see them will gobble them up as well as the plants awakening from the winter? Suggestions? I’m afraid I am going to have to cage everything’s off until it’s up?
