Spur buds?

Can you post a picture? Hens can have spurs too, so that's not necessarily indicative of sex.

They are little sharp nubs forming in the back of (her?) leg.

As the others said, those are spur buds, which all chickens have, male and female.
Your chick is definitely a girl, because her color is female specific. Male Salmon Faverolles look completely different.
