Spurs or normal?

We have a few more th old bantam that has these little bumps we have only had hens so I am wondering if. These were baby spurs developing? Any advice?

Spur nubs are normal in both male and female chicks.

Both males and females will have spur bumps, like rosemarythyme said. It can take several months for spurs to actually grow in on a rooster. It can take anywhere from like 3 months to almost a year for them to develop. I have a 10 month old roo who’s just getting his spurs.
