When do roosters start showing signs of spurs?

All chickens, including females, will have spur "nubs" as soon as they hatch. When a male is five to six months old or so, he will begin developing noticeable spurs.

I have six girls, 19wks old, and none of them have spurs or nubs. If you do a search on this site you'll find many posts on the subject :)

Well, they're not really "nubs". Usually they appear as just an enlarged, slightly bigger scale.
