My chickens ate my garden....I mean nothing left. All my squash are gone, my clintro is a stick, my beans are pulled up and gone. I know it was by birds as I caught them in the action... why would they rogue? Any ideas?

Chickens will eat EVERYTHING they have access to. If you have a garden or landscaping that you want to survive then you gotta have a fence. They are foragers by instinct and will scratch, peck, dig, and eat everything they find.

Ummmm...they're chickens. That's what they do. You can't really teach a chicken not go in your garden or flower bed or neighbors yard. Keep them in a pen or keep your garden fenced in. Good luck!

Chickens will eat everything. A fence is needed to keep them out of what you want to protect. That is what chicken wire is good for.

At the end of the season, I let them into the garden. They clean up all the leftover plants and produce.
