Squatch Zone (hatching Squatch eggs)

I recently hatched 21 eggs from my flock. All have Squatch as a father (Black Jersey Giant)... I decided that I was going to create a thread for the next incubation that will be hatching on Sunday 11/24.

We do have two mystery eggs from a local farm and the father is a Brahma, We were hoping that at least one of them would be a pullet so we could add it to our current laying flock.

The Hens/pullets who laid the eggs are a Cochin, Delaware, Barred Rock, and Red Sex Link. I'm not sure who's eggs are who's besides the red sex links because all the others lay similar pink/cream eggs.

Here are pics from my first hatch the hens/pullets are Red Sex Link and Delaware. They were born 10/31/19

I was doing an egg-topsy 48 hours after hatch day and this chick was barely alive. It's doing amazing now

Thanks... I put them in lockdown a day early because it worked last time. I won't increase the humidity until tomorrow.

I thought so too for my first time breeding and hatching. Squatch is quite the looker, he's just stunning to me. He's huge, past my knees!

I've been a bit more patient this hatch. My first one I kept staring at the incubator and candling, this time I've only candled twice.

They start hatching when I'm not looking, so if I don't look they'll hatch!
