Starting A Rescue

I never realized until my Craigslist ordeal how many farm animals need a rescue. We have an unlimited amount of places to bring dogs and cats. After our ordeal and hubby and I sitting here talking over coffee. We would like to start a farm rescue center.

I have no idea how to start or what to look up. We have plenty of room, love, compassion and empathy for these animals.

These are starting to pop up in quite a few places! I work in dog rescue but take in all types of critters- and I have rescue friends that do the same! Where about are you located?

Fundraising and getting your 501C3 are two of the biggest things on your list! Networking with feed and grain stores to see about getting broken bags of feed donated, or at extremely reduced prices, etc.

Even piggy backing off an existing rescue to create a branch off of their rescue- thats what I do hahaha
