Starting new coop (pics)

    Started new chicken coop today as you can see have a long ways to go. Need to build boxes and roost, then i can start on run. Posted those pics of lumber to show how much lumber i bought for 150 dollars. Thats red oak and white oak lumber. Its culls from a saw mill but was real good for this project are barn shed etc.

    thats a nice looking henhouse.an the natural wood looks nice.are you going to stain or paint the wood.

    I'm just going to leave it a dirt floor, down here in alabama we use a 12 gauge to keep predators out....

    You may want to consider tacking up some roofing felt on the interior walls to cut down on drafts.

    I wish I could get that much lumber for $150.00. Do they have any more? How far is it to where you are from up here in Florence?
