starting out

We are just starting out ( we are total newbies at this chicken thing) and want to buy some Pulletts in June to then have throughout the summer months. We have an old farm in Leelanau County and want to have chickens for the summer.

Does anyone know where we can purchase some ready to lay hens in June ? We will be looking to pick them up June 11 near Traverse City...
