Stay of my pond you heron you!

    I was just down at the pond letting the ducks have some swim time. My nicest, peaceful time - ducks on the pond and a cup of coffee and a camera. They started squawking like crazy. I look up and a great blue heron is making a fly in. He changed his mind. Guess the pond was too crowded. Had my camera in my hand, but it happened so fast, I didn't get a picture. ;0( Cool way to start the day.

    Nice morning, we have them as well as spoonbills, flamingos, storks, ibis, and a gajillion other birds around here. Nice partof where we live.

    I have one here too that stops by occasionally.
    Freaks my dog out!
    She thinks it's someone walking around the lake!
    They are HUGE birds!
