Stick fast fleas on chooks

Hi I have isa brown chooks and they have stick fast fleas they are a flea that stick and are very hard to remove. I've used olive oil on their combs to suffocate them but I need to kil the cycle can someone help me on what to do and get?

Sounds like you are going to have to dust them. Most feed/animal stores will have an appropriate poultry dusting powder & applicator. All bedding needs to be removed, destroyed. Clean the hen-house with bleach solution, then dust down the hen-house with powder. This needs to be repeated in 10-14 days. Good luck! Sue
