Sticktight flea problem, what should I do?

I noticed one of my roosters has a few sticktight fleas around his eye.
How should I treat him and his enclosure?

If I spray they're coop with ortho yard spray, do I have to dispose of eggs they lay in there?
For those who are free ranging, if they don't lay in the coop, but on in the grass, do I need to stop collecting eggs from them? I plan to put Vaseline on any fleas I see on them. Thank you.

I would use a Permethrin based poultry spray (as described in the article I posted) to treat the housing and the birds. Just mix the spray according to the chart. Clean out housing and treat it with the Permethrin making sure to get corners/crevices, roosting bars and nesting boxes too.

There is no withdrawal period when using Permethrin based poultry spray (or dust) according to the manufacturer's directions.
