    What does "sticky" mean?
I see it on a lot of messages but don't know what it means.
    Thanks,
    Joe

It's something the admins do to a post to make it stay at the top of whatever category its in. If you click on Index up at the top of the page and then pick a topic and click it, you will most of the time see a post that is at the top of the list and it will say sticky on it.

To expand a bit on what cookinmom said, stickys are usually reserved for threads that are extremely informative, or contain rules or announcement about the forums.

In general, you should read them because they are usually pretty useful, so much so that they are kept at the top of the page all the time [IMG]
