still air incubator,

was looking at a still air incubator at our local store cause that's all they have here and was wondering how good they work,does any one know,i just want it for a few turkey eggs nothing major
 
only still air?? never have heard a still air w/o fans? wowzers!!

They work just fine. You take your measure at top of eggs and incubate 101-102F. As with any incubator you want them away from windows and in a stable temperature room.

The reason for higher temp is the still air varies considerably in temp from bottom to top. It's been found that taking temp at top egg level holding 102F hatches best. Good Luck.
