I'm getting silver gray dorkings in the spring and would like more dorking sources to increase the gene pool. Would like some colored dorkings, especially.
Would also like to know some Favorelles breeders, welsummer, and marans that have their own bloodlines, or at least know the lineages of their chickens, so i have an idea what to add.
Thanks!

Who are you getting your silver greys from in the Spring?

I have one SGD roo from Jeanne Fingar's flock, and another roo and 4 hens from MMH. I also have one Red Dorking from a gal in Nebraska, I think. I could never seem to get Teresa Carman's eggs to hatch, though we tried three times.

They just never made it full term, so fertility wasn't the issue.

Oh good... she has bee-yooooo-tiful birds!

I'm still hoping for a few more from her in the Spring, too. Otherwise, I'm hatching my own.

I have some contacts for Faverolles....b/c I have been looking for these as well....I have some Red Dorking pullets that are very nice that a friend gave me.......that they hatched themselves....they are from Iona Farm. PM me for me.
