Hi, there. I've been lurking on and off for years, waiting for the opportunity to have chickens. We just moved, got some space, and I got the go ahead to get my birds! I purchased some Legbar eggs for a class project and will be raising the birds after.

So nice to join in!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. A lot of us were lurkers before joining. I've raised dozens of breeds over the past 50 years, but never had Legbars. However, based on everything I have read about them, they sound like good layers and the auto-sexing is a nice characteristic. No guesswork on gender when they hatch.) Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your Legbars.
