Stock tanks or chill tanks?

Hello everyone, I'm wondering if anyone has used plastic stock tanks for chill tanks? If so. How did your ice hold up and what did you use as a lid? I'm butchering 12 in about 2 weeks, I'll use the chill tanks for about 2 days while we package. Please let me know, thank you

You will need a lot more of ice. Unless it is cold.
Insulated coolers use less ice.
