Stopped nose

I have a silkie hen who’s nose seems to be entirely swollen shut. There is some food in there, but the nose is swollen. I’ve tried medicine to reduce swelling, and am currently moistening it repeatedly with peroxide and trying to get the little bit of food out. Nothing seems to be working.

Try using warm water from an eyedropper. It will have to be repeated until the debris softens. Then gently use a toothpick to remove it as best as you can. It will take time and patience on your part.
