Straggle foot?

    Strawberry fields.
    i am hatching quail and i was wondering what straggle foot is and how to prevent it. please help! oh, and anyway, i like this smilie [​IMG]

    It's actually called spraddle leg, and there is another thread in this same forum that addresses it and shows how to fix it. Otherwise you can use the search function here and find quite a bit of advise. Don't worry!!!! It's fixable!

    The majority of spraddle leg cases come from having incubator temps
    too high. It is better to be lower than higher.

    Unfortunately, spraddle is not always fixable. We have had a 30 to 40%
    success rate.
