Straight Run Silkies

Hi there, another question...

I can't get more than one Silkie. I found out that Ideal Hatchery sells single Silkies. However, they're straight run. I've been reading about how people get leftover Roos... Does ideal do that? Will I have a chance at getting a pullet?

Most hatcheries do not sex bantams because of their size. Why not buy an adult silky if you want a hen?

I have looked and looked for an adult, and I can't find one. Could I ask them to sex one?
