Strange laced wyndotte question

I have 4 laced wyndottes and all should be pullets, about 5 months old....the question is they all have a flat crown like an EE except one has a small single comb, why is that?

Single combs will pop up now and then - especially in birds that are not the product of careful breeding (ie hatchery birds) - they are outside the breed standard and birds with such should not be used for breeding, but can be used for egg laying

Thank you for that information. I did get them from a feed store and not planning to breed.
