Strange pupil shape?

One of my red sex links (7/8 months old) has only one odd shaped pupil. Any ideas? She does have a messy bottom a lot but other than that she eats, drinks and lays normally.

Well it’s not really something not worrying about, I’d say she just hatched out like that

The iris appears to be discoloring in the upper edge of the eye with the odd pupil..... but photos can be deceptive.....is it discoloring when you look at it in real life?

There is no discoloring. Her other eye looks exactly the same aside from the pupil shape. Her sisters are all the same as well (color wise - their pupils are all perfectly normal)

An odd shaped pupil can be a sign of ocular Mareks disease. There is another cause of a keyhole shaped pupil called coloboma, which is a birth defect that occurs in people, birds, and animals. Ocular Mareks can cause a grey iris, a pinpoint pupil, and the irregular shaped pupil.
