I went out to the coop to get the eggs from my 3 Buff Orpingtons today and when I looked into the nesting boxes, a very strange egg was waiting for me.

It is a very pale, almost white egg with a ton of tanish spots covering it.

As you can see, it is much lighter in color compared to the other eggs and it is the only one that has spots that are very visible on it. I didn't eat it just to be safe, but out of curiosity I decided to crack it open and I found this inside the egg whites.

Does this mean that one of my chickens are sick or is this just something that happens? I am pretty new to owning chickens so I am very nervous

They get grit free ranging but not calcium that I am aware of. It should be offered free choice all the time.

Thanks! It's the name of my 2 week old Porcelin D'uccle Bantam chick! I will definantely start getting them calcium as soon as possible. Thanks for the advice!
