Strange under the eye of a Chicken

    I was looking at my older chicken the one laying eggs and I found two of them with similar to this on the photo, any idea what this could be? Thanks.

    I am not a vet, but it looks like it could possibly be some sort of parasite. Do you live in a tropical region? I would consult a vet if possible. Pecking, and infection or scarring could also be a possibility.

    I cannot say it is,but will check tomorrow did not come to mind if could be a worm,will post tomorrow,thanks

    I finished spraying some: Gentian Violet Solution with a paper with holes so it wouldnt get in the eyes and it worked, the worm at last was able to get them out, I think it was white worms, thanks.!
