strange white crustiness on comb

    Hello, I have a road island red and her comb is greyish white and flakey. None of the others have anything like it (6 others). But i have no ideaif it is just the way she is or if its a contagious something... Any ideas? and what I would do about it? Thank You![​IMG]

    I could be wrong, but it's either super dry skin or Favus.

    Favus is treatable with Lotrimin foot fungus cream.

    I hope someone else with more experience with combs finds their way in here. :)

    Is Favus contagious? will the other chickens get it?
