Strangely feathered/semi bald chick

I have a barnyard chick 6 to 8 weeks old (I'm not really sure how old she is) that isn't feathering. She's with a splash maran i bought at the same time as her, and 5 other mixed girls that are a little younger. She's missing hair on her back, face, neck and legs.

He's loosing his feather due to his embarrassment of being called a she. Poor lil' guy.

Cockerels tend to feather in slower and this leads to a very awkward stage in growth for some birds. Your now experiencing this. Completely normal. Take a look at those freakishly long and thick legs. There is no doubt you need to give him a many name before he develops a complex.

Well that's good news that he's not diseased, but bad news for him he's roo#2 in what should have been 7 hens.
I guess we'll just have to call him 'other rooster'
