Stress Molt?

I was in the hospital for 5 days so had someone else caring for my girls. I got home yesterday and went to see them this morning. I think we were all excited to be reunited...there was much bruuupping and jumping from my girls!

My 1.5 year old Minorcan hen, Gretchen, started molting again! She had a full in the Fall, but she's at it again - the coop looks like a pillow exploded in there!

Is there such a thing as a stress-induced molt? If so, is there any way to stop it once it's started?

I have one going through a molt again too. No clue why. Yours could be stressed induced, mine I know isn't. Chickens are predictably unpredictable.
