Stretched Crop?/Crop Bras?

I was reading an article about how Ameraucana/Araucana/Easter Egger type chickens have a greater tendency toward having stretched/distended crops.

Has anyone experienced this with this breed of chicken, and if so how did it fare?

I understand there are chicken "crop bras" which can help with the problem. Has anyone used these on their Chickens which had stretched crops, and did they work?

My Ameraucanas did not have this problem.
