    I have some Bovan Browns that have eggs just like that. My neighbor got some of the BBs at the same time and their eggs are striped too.

    I haven't heard of Bovan Browns. I'll have to look them up! The hen is just about a year old. She just finished her molt and started laying again a few weeks ago. Maybe the "paint roller" is still getting back up to speed!
