I am hesitant to say "runny nose" - I have four 6 week old chicks (2 leghorns 2 buff Orps) I had them in my kitchen in a brooder and have been putting them outside in the brooder during the day.

I moved them to basement today (not musty, temp appox 65) and one of them has twice exhaled through her nose w force and i felt a light spray.

All other behavior is normal - and i have no quarantine option (i have younger chick in my other brooder) they have been vaccinated.

I IMMEDIATELY cleaned the cage, the food and waterer, put cider in the water, and gave them some hard boiled egg. No other environmental factors are new - I change the food and water at least 2X/day and clean out the bedding 2X a week. (Stirring it daily).

Chicken ownership is new to me - am i being paranoid? Anyone else have chicks who do/ or have done this?

    Thanks!
