And she won't un-broodify herself [IMG] We had way too many lemons this year and she must have found one that had dropped off and well..... [IMG] I have removed the lemon and locked her out from the nest but she's gone broody...... on the ground NEXT to the nest. When will they learn??

Did you explain to her that her ridiculous behavior does nothing for silkies' already tarnished reputation as not being very bright?

LOL, So cute I love silkies but their brooding ways drive me insane. We had a broody go rouge once I tried everything she ran away I AM SERIOUS she did. I found her three weeks later sitting under our old deck on acorns. So I gave her some eggs...She was the best momma.

[IMG] This *should* have been her 4th clutch but I don't trust her anymore her first strike was going broody on 30 eggs laid in the communal nest, the second was eating a used tissue. [IMG]
