I got 6 Red Sex Link chicks from TSC yesterday and placed them under my broody Buff/Black Orpington hen last night. All six are doing well with momma this morning!

My hen originally started sitting on 4 eggs. When she got up to feed one day another chicken broke 2 of her eggs so I immediately moved my broody with the remaining 2 eggs. The eggs where due to hatch 5 days ago but didn't. She waited patiently and was still waiting; so I had to intervene. I went to TSC and got the chicks yesterday and I am so glad I did!!!!!
