Hi, folks, I'm another norcal newbie, living in an apartment and researching coturnix (I know monarc is gonna pounce me any second!) for egg production mostly. I'm excited about the idea which is why I'm gonna be reading up carefully and thinking hard before I jump in. Thanks for such a friendly forum!

Hi, Nancy... Do you know of a NoCal source for chicks or started birds? I'm not sure yet if I'm ready to get a 'bator and hatch my own, but I also don't want to put a handful of little quail through the stress of shipping from far away.
