Hello,
I know there area alot of posts out there about this issue but wanted to see if anyone knew why this occured.
I had a 7mo old Whyanotte female who was absolutely fine 2 days ago. She is part of a flock of 5 females. They are contained (no free range) and have a mix of organic feed and scraps from the kitchen to eat. All the others are fine.
Today I found her face down near the hanging feeder. They are contained in a 16ft x 4 ft run with hardware cloth and a 4ft x 4ft coop. No damage to the cloth or coop and no obvious trauma to the bird. No discharge from the nose. All the rest of the flock appear completely healthy and happy.
Are there any thoughts? And what about her eggs for the last week. Are they safe to eat?
Thanks for your help.
