I want to make sure it is ok to give my chickens those suet blocks for birds? I got it at the grocery store and want to make sure it is ok before I give it to them.

I treat my girls to bird seed, and I know lots of folks feed theirs suet, so I think it's okay...

Not a good idea, and I'll tell you why.....the bird seed part is OK, BUT the suet part is actually animal fat. Something that isn't good for a chicken's liver. They can get fatty liver disease, and die younger than they're supposed to.
