sumac pods

    We have a lot of wild sumac berries this year were I live. Is it ok to feed chickens the berry pods?:)

    Yes if sumac. I eat them and many can be used to make tart drinks. They can also be an important winter forage for birds.

    Ok thanks. And they do make a great tart drink I call it sumac-aid taste like pink lemonaid:)
