This awesome rooster belongs to a friend of mine(who gave me permission to use this image) and I was fortunate enough to get some of his offspring(you should see the mother!).

  2. Quote:Gorgeous! I love Sumatras! If you end up with hatching eggs from those lines, let me know...which, BTW--what are those lines? I'd like to add a few new hens to flock...

RFF can you actually see the picture? My computer has gone NUTS!
It posted in the wrong section and everything(believe me, I know what breed and gender this bird is!).

This bird has the most beautiful personality of any Sumatra I've ever seen(hens included) around people. Around other roosters-he takes no prisoners!
Thanks for helping me out RFF-I have no idea what happened with my uploads.
RFF I can try to get you some hatching eggs out of the same parents mine are from-both parents are titled like you would not believe!
The line is out of Louisiana and this breeder is VERY stingy with these birds-for some reason this line has been kept really low key.

What a pretty boy! Ya know, everywhere I read said that Sumatras were wild and flighty, but my little 12-wk pullets are some of my friendliest birds. they're the first to arrive for treats, standing there peep-peeping, very calm, and were the first to take treats from our hands. They're really nice birds, maybe I have some anomalies?
